This discovery is very interesting. In a video Corrado Malanga said that in July they will make known their further discoveries on what is under the Sphinx and the Giza plateau.
So do you think it is possible that there are pre-Flood constructions still present under the pyramids?
Can pre-Flood constructions still exist around the world or do you think they were all destroyed with the flood?
I believe the pre-flood structures can exist in places where they were buried and the granite craton was not folded or crushed. In those cases, they are found near the granite crustal boundary below sedimentary rock. Examples include Heavner Oklahoma and Rockwall Texas. The Giza Plateau is not such a place, however. The Giza Plateau is a limestone deposit called the Mokkatam Formation which sits on top of an older fossilized coral reef. That suggests that in the pre-diluvian world, that location was a shallow tropical sea. The Flood dumped a thick layer of precipitated calcium carbonate on top of that ancient reef forming today's Giza Plateau.
An additional problem with the theory that there are 2 km deep structures under the Great Pyramid is that it is below the current water table. They would have required mechanical pumps to pump the water out in order to dig that deep. Perhaps they did. Our civilization used steam engines to power pumps, enabling us to mine below the water table, which started in the 19th century.
