Several subscribers have reached out to me recently to ask about an announcement and interview by Italian researchers claiming to have found massive structures underneath two of the Pyramids of Giza. In this post I will look at the original paper published by these researchers and make some informed speculation about what they may have found.
For the past two weeks, we’ve been seeing videos like this one saying that researchers discovered a massive structure under the Khafre Pyramid.
The original paper by these researchers is often referenced, but makes no mention of the new discovery. You can read it here: https://www.mdpi.com/2072-4292/14/20/5231
The researchers leading the team are Filippo Biondi and Corrado Malanga. Both men are electrical engineers, not Egyptologists. Naturally, you can imagine that the Egyptologists are aghast at this announcement because they didn’t find it themselves.
As far as I can tell, these researchers are legitimate, and they have used this technology to examine several other ancient structures and have published many papers on this. There is no reason to disbelieve them about the structures they discovered, though their interpretations may be mistaken. The big announcement appears to be a discovery that was part of the same project that produced the paper three years ago. Thus, the new structures are not mentioned in the original paper, because they had not found them yet.
What This Could Possibly Be
Flavius Josephus in his Antiquities of the Jews records the following information about the Patriarch Seth:
...Now this Seth...did leave children behind him who imitated his virtues.... They also were the inventors of that peculiar sort of wisdom which is concerned with the heavenly bodies, and their order. And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known, upon Adam's prediction that the world was to be destroyed at one time by the force of fire, and at another time by the violence and quantity of water, they made two pillars; the one of brick, the other of stone: they inscribed their discoveries on them both, that in case the pillar of brick should be destroyed by the flood, the pillar of stone might remain, and exhibit those discoveries to mankind; and also inform them that there was another pillar of brick erected by them. Now this remains in the land of Siriad to this day.
The Siriad land was a reference to Egypt, the land of Sirius, the dog star.
We are told that some body of knowledge was preserved by Seth’s descendants and that it was inscribed on or in two pillars, one being made of stone.
There are many legends of a "Hall of Records” from the ancients that may also refer to this body of knowledge preserved on pillars.
I have always wondered why the Patriarchs invested such an enormous amount to time, work, and treasure to build the Giza Pyramids at a time when the world was so young, and the post-flood patriarchs like Shem, Eber, and Abraham were all still alive.
It is possible, though by no means certain that the stone pillar in the Siriad land mentioned above refers to one of the Giza Pyramids and the structures beneath it.
However, at the rate that Egyptologists investigate these kinds of cutting-edge discoveries we will be lucky to see this investigated in our lifetimes. Until then we will just have to wonder.

This discovery is very interesting. In a video Corrado Malanga said that in July they will make known their further discoveries on what is under the Sphinx and the Giza plateau.
So do you think it is possible that there are pre-Flood constructions still present under the pyramids?
Can pre-Flood constructions still exist around the world or do you think they were all destroyed with the flood?
